Total Bug Blocker was founded by Shy Shinalt, a licensed exterminator. While most teenagers were studying for finals, Shy was studying for the Texas State Structure Pest Control Technician Exam—and figuring out how to launch a business.
Now in his early 20s, Shy runs Total Bug Blocker out of a 6,000-square-foot office in Tyler, TX. Alongside his father and a small, hardworking team, he delivers pest control that’s fast, friendly, and surprisingly fun.
